HAND THERAPY
Hand and Upper Extremity injuries require the specialized
care and knowledge of a highly trained Occupational
and/or Physical Therapist. At Innovative
Physical Therapy &
Sports Medicine Centers our Hand Rehabilitation
Specialists are Tammi Slavin, OTR Corpus Christi and
Rosie Arambula, OTR Laredo. Our two dynamic Occupational
Therapists have extensive, specialized training and
experience in treating injuries and illnesses of the
hands and upper extremities. Our Therapists use highly
effective techniques to alleviate pain, improve range
of motion, increase strength and accelerate recovery.
Tammi and Rosie have been practicing in the area of
hand specialization for many years and are currently
active members of The Texas Occupational Therapy Association,
The American Occupational Therapy Association, and both
the The American and Texas Societies of Hand Therapists.
Rosie is also involved as a Clinical Instructor for
Laredo Community College's Occupational Therapist Assistant
Program.
Tammi and Rosie continually attend specialized hand
and upper extremity courses to further their knowledge
and expertise in their field of work.
